Last Thursday the Travvies were announced; the first proper travel blog awards- see the winners here.  Props to Upgrade: Travel Better for staging the whole thing, and well done to the winners.

No offence or anything, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the whole thing, and not just because no-one I voted for won.  Actually, it WAS because no-one I voted for won.  There I’ve said it.  Anyway, we at Youngin Towers have decided to start our own travel blog awards, which may or may not be a regular thing. Actually, could someone email us roughly this time next year to remind us to do it again. Thanks.

Oh yay! I love winning! It hasn't happened since a spelling bee in the second grade (And really I have no idea how I pulled of spelling "yoghurt" because you have to admit that's a tricky one.)
