Recently came across a great video guide to Copenhagen...narrated by local lass Mathilde Moyel Jull.  The guide is worth a watch as it covers quite a few of Copenhagen's hipper districts, and also, as noted by Travel Voyeur where i found the vid, Mathilde is a bit of a looker.

When it rains...it pours

Well would you look at that.  Good old Brave New Traveler have included us in their first ever 'Best of the Week' section, which is pretty ace if you ask us.  We're first on the list too...so in the future the aliens will think of YIE as the first ever 'best of the week' on Brave New Traveler.  Smashing stuff.

By the way, BNT are nominated for a travvie...do give them a vote, and vote for Gridskipper too.  Wait, you can't vote for both.  Um, you decide.

Huge in Latvia

Funny thing this Intraweb.  During a brief bout of e-narcissism this afternoon I decided to Google Youngin Europe...and guess what turned up...?!

First of all, a couple of lovely Spanish sites have blogged about us; here, and here. 

It also turns out we are huge in Latvia, and Serbia... cool.  Ok, these last two are only little mentions, but I'm pretty sure the Serbian one translates as "Youngin Europe is probably  the best thing since bureks"

To the Spaniards...Gracias!  To the Latvians...Paldies!  To the Serbians...Hvala!  For everyone else we've forgotten... link.

Hmmmmm

Yeah yeah time lapse-videos are, like, whatever.  Yeah yeah, Vancouver isn't in Europe.  But this video is amazing, and Vancouver is in Canada, where the second language is French, and France is in Europe.  Exactly.
