Travel, like technology, is all about progress. There's no point hanging around in one place too long because you'll just get bored. By this logic the Youngin Europe site was well over due for a tune up. Here's a quick run down of things you can expect from YIE 2.0.
RSS: RSS is what all the cool people on the Internet are talking about. I'm not going to go into too much detail here as to its applications, but suffice to say it will make using Youngin Europe a hell of a lot easier. If you just can wait for me to explain what this is all about, the Wikepedia article on RSS is pretty comprehensive. For those already in the know, expect RSS feeds for every destination in Europe covered by YIE.
The guidePod: This is something the technical department at YIE concocted about a year ago but due to restrictions have only been able to develop recently. Imagine the entire YIE guide in your back pocket. No it's better than that. Imagine the entire YIE guide in your back pocket along with around 10,000 songs. Soon you'll be able to use your click wheel navigate all the best locations in Europe, as well as you latest (legal) download.
Hopefully those two bits of insider info have sufficiently whetted your appetite. I'll post up some more technical buffoonery later in the week.
